Role Overview

SCR Mining and Tunnelling is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics to join their underground mining operations team. The role involves performing preventive maintenance and repairs to heavy-duty mining equipment. The team is based in Bissett, Manitoba, and the position is remote with camp accommodation and meals provided.

What You Will Do

Diagnose faults, adjust equipment, repair or replace parts, and perform routine maintenance work on heavy-duty mining equipment. Follow safety procedures and regulations, and be physically and mentally fit for work.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have trade certification, 3 years' experience in maintenance and repairs of underground mining equipment, and a positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
