Position: Internal Medicine Expert
Type:Contract
Compensation:$130–$180/hour
Location:Remote
Duration:Ongoing
Commitment:20+ hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design clinically realistic prompts and scenarios from Internal Medicine practice. Focus on diagnostic reasoning, treatment planning, risk stratification, and guideline concordance.
• Write "golden" reference responses at attending-level quality.
• Grade AI-generated responses using structured rubrics.
• Provide written feedback to the research team to improve model behavior.
• Participate in onboarding office hours and specialty calibration sessions.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Attending physicians: Board certified with current, active, unrestricted medical license.
• Resident physicians: In final year of residency; recent graduates must be board-eligible.
• Fellows: Board-certified/board-eligible in primary specialty with current active, unrestricted medical license.

Start Date

• Rolling, after onboarding sign-off.

Compensation & Legal

• Paid weekly via Mercor.
