Back-end Software Engineer

Maple GRC is seeking an experienced Backend Developer to enhance our cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance software. We are looking for individuals who thrive in an innovative environment and are committed to the highest standards of quality.

Requirements

• Develop and maintain applications using Laravel (version 10 preferred).
• Manage MySQL databases, ensuring their integrity, efficiency, and security.
• Operate within a Linux environment, utilizing command line interfaces effectively.
• Apply SOLID principles and MVC design patterns to ensure clean and scalable code.
• Implement the Repository design pattern to abstract and encapsulate data access logic.
• Optimize database designs through normalization to improve scalability and performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a top academic record.
• Strong experience in developing applications with Laravel, any version, though version 10 is preferred.
• Proficient in managing MySQL databases.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments with command line interfaces.
• Deep understanding of SOLID principles, MVC, and Repository design patterns.
• Knowledgeable in database normalization techniques.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills
