Payment Posting Coordinator

Role Overview

Posts insurance and patient payments, denials, adjustments, and deposits accurately and on time. Processes electronic payment files (835/ERA) and resolves any posting or payer file issues.

What You Will Do

Applies EOB payments, contractual adjustments, deductibles, copays, and rejection codes to patient accounts. Researches missing or unidentified payments, recoupments, and credit balances to ensure proper resolution and reconciliation.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Requires high school diploma or two years of medical billing or payment posting experience. Must have working knowledge of EOB's, EFT's and ERA's, and knowledge of managed care contracts, Medicare, and Medicaid.

• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
