Role Overview

The Project Superintendent will have a strategic role charged with the daily supervision of projects including safety, layout, coordination, planning, and scheduling. The Superintendent will work closely with Project Managers and Executives, as well as subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives. This position requires travel throughout the Northeast and the ability to collaborate with offsite team members.

What You Will Do

Manage and oversee construction projects from start to finish, coordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors, ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, and utilize construction management software to track project progress and communicate with team members.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent (15+ years)
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., ProCore)
  • Familiarity with budgeting and cost control procedures
  • Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols, OSHA 30 certification
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
  • Experience with scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project) is a plus
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant commercial construction field experience
  • Excellent work ethic, and a 'can do' attitude towards solving problems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid Driver's License
