Role Overview

ISG seeks a Software Strategic Sourcing Director with 15+ years of experience in software cloud, SaaS, subscription, and on-premise license negotiations, leadership, and software sourcing strategy. The Director will lead projects and a team to support large enterprise software sourcing engagements and critical workstreams for complex multi-software sourcing engagements.

What You Will Do

The Director will develop and execute strategies for Client project success, lead complex software negotiations, and provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for direct reports. They will also contribute to the development and enhancement of ISG methodologies, intellectual property, and service offerings.

Requirements

• 15 + years of SaaS, cloud and on-premise software strategic sourcing delivery expertise
• Experience with negotiating agreements with leading software vendors
• Deep expertise across a minimum of five major enterprise software providers
• Demonstrated expertise in quantitative analysis, financial modeling, pricing analysis, and scenario development
• Proven experience structuring and leading complex software negotiations
• Experience leading multiple concurrent client engagements
• Ability to identify additional advisory opportunities within existing client accounts
• Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in a technical or scientific field
