Oracle DBA, Support

Responsibilities:

• Experience with design, performance, and tuning is essential. The role requires extensive experience in the performance and tuning of OLTP and Datawarehouse applications.
• Should have hands-on, sensitive to risks and controls, work well under pressure and possess strong problem analysis/troubleshooting/design/performance & tuning skills.
• Good verbal and communication skills are essential as are project/time management skills.
• Work in a team with a focus on Production Support, performance and tuning, design, deployment, and support of Oracle and Oracle RAC Database residing at On-Prem and AWS.
• Analyze the needs of users to help identify Database problems and initiate the process of proposing
  solutions.
• Ensure the requirements of the business users are captured, documented, and clearly understood by development, QA, and other IT groups before a solution is developed and implemented.
• Coordinate and participate in Hosting Services stability initiatives that aim to improve the integrity of the
  production environment.
• Build and support the BCP initiatives and ensure infrastructure compliance against security baseline and
  Audit requirements.
• Perform the above tasks while at the same time adhering to Hosting Services policy around incident, problem, and change management and best practices.

• Experience - 3-5 years
• Key Skill set:
  - Oracle 11g, 12c and 19c + RAC
  - Oracle DBA: RAC, Data guard, ASM, RMAN, Performance Tuning, 19C, Exadata/Goldengate
  - Oracle OEM
  - Oracle OMS GRID
  - Oracle Design Database Performance Tuning
  - Linux, Solaris
  - ITIL and Service-Now
  - Knowledge of MSSQL is a plus.
