Engineering Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

• To support engineers, help marketing retain current customers, and find new ones for the shipbuilding business.
• Participate in the tender process for new construction and conversion projects by helping with commercial ship maintenance and new construction.
• Contract, technical, and equipment specifications are reviewed in order to fulfill design obligations.
• Create a fundamental design concept in accordance with the new building tender.
• Create a drawing timetable and set up a technical meeting with the vendor, system integrators, client, classification, and designer.
• For awarded new building projects, carry out the engineering production plan and new building design.
• Interpret maritime regulations and classification norms. the capacity to interpret design drawings.
• To collaborate with a team while working individually.

Requirements:

• Marine or Naval Arch Degree or Polytechnic or similar.
• A minimum of five years of engineering experience in offshore or marine-related fields.
• Recognize the fundamentals of shipbuilding and project management. able to conduct client discussions and understand technological specs.
