Senior Backend Engineer

Role Overview

The Backend Engineer is responsible for the system to work behind the scenes, integrating the application with required systems and services, and providing clean and easy-to-use API for the frontend part of the system.

Design and develop business logic and backend systems, work with frontend developers, decipher existing software systems, write unit and integration tests, and develop automation tools.

Requirements

• Experience as a backend engineer in common languages and frameworks
• Experience in AWS
• Experience in GraphQL
• Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and engineering principles
• Significant experience writing and utilizing autonomous services-oriented restful API services
• Experience with database systems, including SQL and NoSQL stores
• Ability to write effective unit, integration, and API tests
