Role Overview
The Mental Health Counselor will provide individual, family, and/or group therapy to clients with a variety of behavioral health needs. The ideal candidate is empathetic, organized, clinically skilled, and comfortable working in a collaborative outpatient setting.
What You Will Do
Provide individual, group, or family counseling following evidence-based therapeutic approaches, conduct intake assessments, psychosocial evaluations, and treatment planning, and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be located in the state of Florida, and experience in trauma-informed care, anxiety, depression, ADHD, or mood disorders is a plus.
Requirements
- Active Florida license in good standing
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, marriage & family therapy, or related field
- Strong clinical documentation and assessment skills
- Ability to manage a caseload and maintain professional boundaries
