Senior Associate, Policy

Role Overview

Avalere Health is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Policy Practice. The Senior Associate will support multiple projects and accounts, working closely with project managers and subject matter experts to analyze and research policy proposals, create client deliverables, and track market developments impacting all healthcare stakeholders.

What You Will Do

Assist senior staff with account stewardship through management of cross-functional projects to solve complex client problems, coordinate subject matter experts, and develop strategic and tactical recommendations for Avalere clients.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• A graduate degree in public policy, health sciences, health policy, epidemiology/biostatistics or public health
• Subject matter expertise in healthcare policy, policy analysis, and qualitative and quantitative public health research methods
• Experience analyzing policy proposals, legislation, and/or regulation and translating findings to varying audiences
• Superior oral and written communications skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and excellent time management skills
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
