  • Location: Remote
  • Schedule: School-day hours (aligned with student schedules)
  • Employment Type: 1099 (Independent Contractor) and W2 options available
  • Availability: 2-2.5hrs a week
This is a remote, school-based Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) role supporting studentsacross K–12 school settings. You’ll work in coordination with school teams and families, supported by clearworkflows, structured onboarding, and dedicated internal support.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver deaf and hard of hearing services aligned with IEP goals
  • Support students with hearing impairments in accessing educational instruction and communication
supports
  • Collaborate with school teams, families, interpreters, and related service providers
  • Develop goals and track student progress
  • Complete documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and team collaboration
Scheduling
  • Services are delivered during standard school hours (typically 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
  • Scheduling is aligned with student availability
Active Georgia Professional Standards Commission with Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement
  • Experience working in school-based settings (1 year minimum experience preferred)
  • Experience with IEPs and school-based collaboration
  • Comfortable using technology for virtual service delivery, including online platforms and documentation
systems

Benefits

Compensation & Pay Structure
  • Rate: $45–$50 per hour
  • Paid for documentation, IEP meetings and assessments at the same hourly rate
  • Paid for no-shows and late cancellations
  • Completed sessions include an additional 25% to account for session documentation time
  • 15mins extra added to your first session for every new student added to your caseload (hourly roles)
for IEP review and scheduling time
  • Paid training ($20/hour), including HR onboarding, platform training, and school-specific training
