Job Summary:

Experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for immediate hire for our residential drug treatment program. LPN'S who are interested in pursuing a career in the behavioral health and addiction field are encouraged to consider available positions with Argus Community, Inc. Our OASAS - licensed residential treatment program.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Conducting initial health and ongoing clinical [link removed] administration of medications and monitoring [link removed] medical treatment and follow up with community medical [link removed] closely with consulting psychiatrist and psychiatric nurse [link removed] seamless procurement of prescription medication from partnering [link removed] records as per state and agency [link removed] training for program [link removed] with directors and program staff to insure continuity of [link removed] emergency first aid/CPR assistance when [link removed] duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications/Criteria:

NYS LPN license; experience in working with mentally ill chemically dependent adults; basic computer literacy; CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR; ability to work under stress; ability to communicate effectively with residents and health care professionals; flexibility and physical condition commensurate with the demands of the [link removed] competitive; based on clinical ability & [link removed] law prohibits us from requiring you to share information about your current or past salary.
