About the Role

We are seeking aBackend Developerwith [link removed] (Express)to lead backend development effortsofone ofour Australianclients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, andmaintainscalable REST APIs using Express ([link removed])

• Build backend services usingTypeScript or JavaScript

• Work withNoSQL databases (MongoDB, Google Cloud, etc.)andSQL databaseswhererequired

• Optimizebackend systems forperformance, scalability, and reliability

• Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless integration

• Contribute to architectural decisions and backend best practices

• Engage directly with clients, providing updates and technical insights

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience [link removed] and Express

• ProficiencyinTypeScript or JavaScript

• Hands-on experience withNoSQL databases (MongoDB, Google Cloud, etc.)

• Working knowledge ofSQL databases

• Strong experience building and consumingREST APIs

• Exposure toGraphQLis a plus

• Experience insystem design and scalable architecture

• Strong experience with secure coding practices andsecurity best practices

• ExperienceworkingwithCloud function(Good to have)

• Understanding ofAgile/Scrum methodologies

• Proven experience in aclient-facing role
