Role Overview

Join the Substation Division (SSD) and play a pivotal role in designing groundbreaking systems that advance the reliability and efficiency of North America’s power infrastructure. This position will report to the Substation Division Product Line Manager – FACTS and HVDC and is a remote position based in the United States. Less than 50% travel required.

What You Will Do

Lead cutting-edge design studies for FACTS and HVDC systems, innovate equipment development, elevate system performance, collaborate globally, and support strategic growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Power Electronics Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in FACTS or HVDC system engineering
  • Advanced knowledge of power electronics, substation theory, protection, and control
  • Ability to conceptualize innovative solutions and improve existing designs
  • Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, and power system simulation software
