Senior Scala Engineer

Ryz Labs is looking for a skilled Senior Scala Backend Engineer to join a dynamic technology team in the financial industry. This role involves designing and implementing server-side applications that handle complex data and integrate with various systems. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that enhances our ability to provide exceptional financial services.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in backend development with Scala.
• Experience with functional programming and design patterns.
• Familiarity with frameworks and libraries such as Akka, Play, or Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of database management and performant SQL.
• Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and integrating with external APIs.
• Solid understanding of software engineering practices and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
