Job description

Position Overview:As a Tagalog Remote Agent, you will be responsible for facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings, including customer service, medical, and other verticals via audio and video. Language Services Associates is continuously accepting qualified interpreters!Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective audio and video remote interpreting
  • Answer inbound calls in a timely manner
  • Perform basic troubleshooting for technical issues
  • Provide superior customer service
  • Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
  • Complete assigned training(s) and participate in ongoing Quality Assurance monitoring
Qualifications/Experience:
  • International opportunity
  • Full fluency in both English and Tagalog
  • Technology proficient (including but limited to: web based platforms, email, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel)
  • Preferred - professional interpreting experience
  • Preferred - industry specific certifications/trainings (CMI, CCHI, etc.)
  • Preferred - proof of 40+ hour medical interpreting training (ex: Bridging The Gap, Cross-Cultural, etc.)
