Senior Product and Regulatory Counsel

Role Overview

As Senior Legal Counsel, Product and Regulatory, you will play a key role in supporting KOHO's product development and regulatory strategy across both KOHO Tech and KOHO Bank. You will work closely with Product, Marketing, Risk, and Compliance teams to provide practical legal advice that enables innovation while protecting customers and maintaining strong regulatory standards.

Partner across KOHO Tech and KOHO Bank to provide practical regulatory advice that enables growth while protecting customers. Support the design and launch of new financial products and features, identifying regulatory risks early and helping teams build compliant solutions.

Requirements

• 6+ years post-call experience as a lawyer practicing in Canada (in-house and/or at a law firm)
• Experience advising on financial services regulation, banking law, or consumer protection frameworks
• Strong judgment and the ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice
