Traveling Meter Technician

Role Overview

As a Traveling Meter Technician, you will install, maintain, and repair submeters in multifamily homes, apartment complexes, and retail areas. You will work with property owners, managers, and retail store staff to address questions and concerns related to water submetering.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include installing, programming, and configuring submeters, performing routine maintenance and inspections, troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, conducting repairs and replacements, and calibrating and testing submeters.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, who is mechanically inclined and has experience working with hand tools. You should be able to lift 50 pounds, climb and work from ladders, and meet other physical demands.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• High school degree or equivalent
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to pass a background check
