The Freelance Firm is a legal outsourcing platform that connects law firms with experienced, high-level freelance attorneys and paralegals who provide on-demand support for both short-term and ongoing legal projects.

Due to increasing demand, we are now searching for qualified, experienced and dedicated freelance attorneys with strong experience in family law matters in the Minnesota area.

Mostly remote work-needs to be able to attend occasional hearings and depositions.

Types of work will include case management, research, drafting, hearing & deposition coverage as needed, all aspects of family law.

Requirements:

- Must be licensed in good standing to practice in the state ofMinnesota.

- Able to attend in-person depositions, hearings and mediation in theMinnesotaarea.

- Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in family law cases

- Strong research and writing skills and trial experience, able to attend hearings and deposition.

- Proven ability to meet deadlines and be well organized

- Self-starter and able to work independently

Job Types: Contract-family law

Pay: $85.00 per hour for remote, off site salary is a higher range

Schedule:

  • Day shift- or weekends can work remote, however must be available for in-person depositions and hearings
  • Hours 6-10 hours per week

Requirements

Requirements:

- Must be licensed in good standing to practice in the state of Minnesota

- Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience

- Strong research and writing skills

- Proficient with Minnesota Rules of Evidence

- Comfortable appearing for hearings & depositions in person. Does not need to come to the office but can if they want to.

- Firm uses Clio, Slack, Airtable.
