About PrimECS
PrimECS is a U.S.-based civil construction and engineering company supporting infrastructure projects across the United States. We are building a high-performing remote team to support estimating, design, and project delivery.
Role
We are looking for a Structural Engineer with real experience in roads and bridges design.
This is not an entry-level or support role. You will be responsible for producing actual engineering work, including calculations and design.
This role is execution-focused. You are expected to work independently, solve problems, and deliver results.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural design and analysis for roads, bridges, and civil infrastructure
- Prepare and review engineering calculations and design outputs
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and technical requirements
- Support projects from design through execution
- Coordinate with estimating, project management, and field teams
- Identify and solve engineering problems independently
- Ensure accuracy and quality of all engineering deliverables
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 5 years experience (10+ preferred) in structural design
- Experience in road and bridge design
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles
- Ability to perform calculations and technical analysis
- Experience in construction or design environments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work in U.S. EST business hours
- Reliable internet connection
