Ancient Remedies is a fast-moving natural health and wellness company on a mission to help people help themselves through holistic medicine. We make beautiful, practical books about herbal remedies, food as medicine, and natural health — and we sell thousands of books every day through paid [link removed] we need to build the organic side of the [link removed] organic presence is underbuilt. We have real products, real customers, and a mission people care about, but our social content does not yet reflect the trust, warmth, usefulness, and authority of the brand we are building. We do not want engagement bait. We do not want generic “Big Pharma doesn’t want you to know this” content. We want social content that makes people feel: this brand understands me, helps me, and can be trusted.This role exists to own that [link removed] will lead the day-to-day organic social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and future channels. You will define what we post, why we post it, how it should feel, and how we improve. You’ll turn Ancient Remedies into a brand people are proud to follow, save, share, and buy [link removed] is a high-ownership role. You will not be handed a perfect system. You will build the system. You’ll create content pillars, test formats, direct editors or creators, analyze performance, and raise the standard of everything we publish. The right person will have a rare mix of social taste, customer empathy, brand judgment, and speed.What You’ll Own
  • Define and execute the organic social strategy for Ancient Remedies.
  • Build content that drives reach while increasing trust, authority, and brand warmth.
  • Create repeatable content series around natural health, herbal remedies, food as medicine, seasonal wellness, and our books.
  • Write hooks, scripts, captions, content briefs, and creative direction for short-form videos.
  • Manage the content calendar and posting rhythm across key platforms.
  • Work with editors, creators, or internal team members to produce content quickly.
  • Identify what is working, what is not, and what we should test next.
  • Improve the quality of our public-facing brand presence.
  • Protect the brand from low-trust, legally risky, or off-mission content.
  • Report clearly on performance, insights, and next steps.
Who We’re Looking ForWe are looking for someone who understands social media at a deep, native level — but also understands that not all attention is good [link removed] should have strong taste. You can look at a post and explain why it works, why it feels cheap, why it builds trust, or why it damages the brand. You know the difference between content that gets views and content that creates real brand [link removed] should be genuinely interested in natural health, wellness, herbal remedies, food as medicine, or helping people take better care of themselves at home. You do not need to be a medical expert, but you need to care about the category and respect the [link removed] should be comfortable moving fast, testing often, and owning outcomes. This is not a role for someone who waits to be told exactly what to do. We want someone who brings ideas, notices problems, raises the bar, and takes [link removed] may be a great fit if you have:
  • Experience growing or managing organic social accounts for a brand, creator, publisher, wellness company, education company, or consumer product.
  • Strong instincts for short-form video, hooks, retention, storytelling, and platform-native content.
  • A portfolio that shows real taste — not just trends, templates, or generic edits.
  • The ability to direct editors, creators, or UGC talent.
  • Comfort being scrappy: filming, briefing, scripting, posting, analyzing, and iterating.
  • High standards for brand trust, accuracy, and customer perception.
  • Clear communication and strong ownership.
This role is for someone who wants to build something meaningful, not just “run social.”
