The role
Job description
Symphony is a global design and development software company headquartered in San Francisco with 800+ technologists located across engineering offices in Southeast Europe and Latin America, along with business development offices in the US and Western Europe, and a Remote hub engaging employees from Latin America to Africa and Asia. In the last 19 years, we have launched over 300 products for the world's leading startups, enterprises, Private Equity companies, and Fortune 500 companies.
Our team has a proven track record in helping clients increase revenue, reduce time-to-market, improve end-user experiences, and achieve scalability. We have domain expertise spanning financial services, banking, retail, technology, healthcare, as well as the VC and PE ecosystem, among others.
We are on the lookout for a Product Strategist!
As a Product Strategist at Symphony, you'll shape product direction for global enterprise clients: leading discovery, defining product vision and strategy, and turning market insight into roadmaps that design and engineering teams can execute. This is a hands-on strategic role where you own the product narrative from the first conversation through launch and post-launch learnings, setting the product standards for each engagement.
What would be your responsibilities if you join us?
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Analyze market data to identify opportunities and threats.
- Develop insights from customer feedback, surveys, and market studies.
- Define the product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Create product roadmaps that outline the development and release of new features and products.
- Prioritize features and initiatives based on market demand and business impact.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to turn strategy into actionable plans.
- Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch analysis.
- Ensure products are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
- Communicate the product strategy and roadmap to stakeholders, including executives, sales, and marketing teams.
- Provide regular updates on product performance and strategic adjustments.
- Serve as a liaison between departments to ensure alignment and cooperation.
- Track and analyze product performance metrics to gauge success and identify areas for improvement.
- Adjust the product strategy based on performance data and changing market conditions.
- Conduct post-launch reviews to assess product impact and gather learnings for future initiatives.
There are some requirements that will make you stand out:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 8+ years in product management or product strategy, with ownership of product vision and roadmaps for digital products.
- Strong background in consulting, professional services, or client-facing product leadership.
- Track record of taking products from discovery to launch across multiple domains or industries, including zero-to-one initiatives.
- Hands-on experience shaping AI-powered products: defining AI feature strategy, working with LLM-based capabilities, and weighing build vs. buy trade-offs.
- Strong command of discovery and research methods: customer interviews, competitive analysis, and opportunity sizing.
- Fluency with prioritization frameworks, roadmapping, and Agile delivery (e.g., Jira).
- Comfort with product analytics and data-informed decision making: defining metrics, running experiments, and acting on the numbers.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills with executive and client audiences.
You will easily fit into Symphony culture if you:
- Are proactive and enthusiastic about your own continuous learning and improvement
- Have the ability to analyze and understand the business context and logic behind your job responsibilities
- Enjoy working in a pleasant and cooperative atmosphere
- Excited about working in international teams and using well-written and spoken English daily
