Assistant General Counsel, Technology Transactions & Product

Role Overview

The Assistant General Counsel will provide legal advice and guidance on commercial, contractual, and regulatory legal matters, with a focus on technology transactions and consumer-directed benefit solutions. The ideal incumbent will provide legal advice on specialized areas of law, including ERISA, IRS and DOL regulations, federal healthcare laws, privacy and intellectual property.

What You Will Do

Structure, draft and negotiate contracts for commercial technology transactions, work with business clients on contractual and regulatory exposures, and provide legal counsel on corporate, regulatory compliance and intellectual property matters.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience with commercial transactions, including experience with technology and SaaS transactions, and a Juris Doctorate Degree. They will have a working knowledge of the financial services and consumer directed benefits industries and applicable regulatory regimes.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience with commercial transactions
• Juris Doctorate Degree
• Working knowledge of the financial services and consumer directed benefits industries and applicable regulatory regimes
• Experience with HSAs and consumer directed benefit products (preferred)
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively at all levels of the organization
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong time and case management skills
• Commitment to professionalism
• High level of integrity
