Senior Backend Engineer (Java)

Scale Tech is a Lithuanian software development and outsourcing agency working with clients across Lithuania, Europe, and the US. For this position, we are partnering with a Lithuanian FinTech client and hiring an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join a long-term project.

About the project:

You will work on a modern FinTech platform focused on:

• Authorization API
• BackOffice API
• System integrations

The environment is collaborative and product-oriented, with a team consisting of:

• Back-end Software Engineers
• Front-end Software Engineers
• Product Owner
Tech stack:
• Java
• Spring Boot
• PostgreSQL
• AWS

What we're looking for:

We are looking for a senior-level engineer who:

• Has strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Understands API design and integrations
• Has experience working with PostgreSQL databases
• Is comfortable working with AWS cloud services
• Can work independently in a remote environment
• Communicates effectively within international teams
• Takes ownership and contributes to technical decisions
