Global Privacy Director

Role Overview

As the Global Privacy Director, you will be the primary architect of our global data protection strategy, ensuring that TaskUs remains a trusted fortress for our clients' and employees' data. You will lead a global privacy team to integrate 'Privacy by Design' into our newest AI-driven services and digital operations.

What You Will Do

Develop and execute a global privacy roadmap, act as the subject matter expert on global privacy laws, partner with Sales and Legal to negotiate complex Data Processing Addendums, and represent TaskUs's privacy program during high-stakes client audits and RFPs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data privacy, legal, or compliance
• JD or equivalent advanced degree preferred; Bachelor's degree in Law, IT, or Business required
• CIPP/E, CIPP/US, and CIPM (IAPP) certifications are highly preferred
• Deep understanding of how data flows through modern cloud infrastructure and AI/ML pipelines
• Experience managing remote, multicultural teams and navigating the nuances of international labor and data laws
