Manager, Category Management & Strategic Sourcing

Role Overview

This role is responsible for collaborating with Business Owners, Technology Teams, Finance and Legal departments in the development and ongoing assessment of IT vendor relationships. This role will develop, implement, and maintain appropriate processes and procedures to ensure efficient oversight of the Company's IT vendors and vendor lifecycle.

What You Will Do

Lead Complex, enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations. Conduct market research and maintain a working knowledge of current business trends. Conduct ongoing benchmark reviews and perform complex financial analysis, projections and evaluations of vendor proposals.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma and 6 years of related experience
• Category management experience in Information Technology categories
• Experience with vendor lifecycle management and knowledge of vendor contracting and management principles
• Experience writing and/or supporting Requests for Information/Requests for Proposals, Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, and Service Contracts
• Experience interpreting, evaluating, negotiating, and terminating complex IT contracts in a professional manner
• Communication, project management, analytic, organization, interpersonal, collaborative, prioritization, multi-tasking, planning, negotiation, change management, technology, and financial acumen skills
