Senior Software Engineer

Basic Function

The Senior Software Engineer at Lumin Digital is responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing enterprise web applications. Leveraging strong object-oriented programming skills, this role works within an agile SCRUM methodology to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions. The Senior Software Engineer plays a key role in supporting production operations, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure business objectives are met.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities, Experience:

Design, develop, document, and modify software systems to meet enterprise application [link removed] well-designed, testable, efficient, and maintainable [link removed] with product management in an agile SCRUM environment, contributing to decision-making and iterative [link removed], debug, and resolve software issues to ensure system [link removed] production operations, ensuring smooth performance and timely resolution of [link removed] to a high-performing development team, fostering collaboration and continuous [link removed] other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

5+ years of experience in development and engineering web applicationsStrong object-oriented programming skills in TypeScript, C#, Java, or similar [link removed] in relational databases, with experience using SQL and ORM [link removed] to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality [link removed] communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a [link removed] problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and [link removed] with microservice [link removed] with containerization tools like [link removed] with AWS or other cloud platforms.

Education:

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Travel: Minimal, generally 12 days or less per year, ~2X team get togethers a year
