Role Overview

Provide mobile armed personal protection and emergency response security services in high-risk areas for the Department of State in Baghdad, Iraq. Rotate in and out of country throughout the duration of the contract. Provide advanced emergency medical care to personnel as required.

What You Will Do

Perform day-to-day personal protective security functions, drive lead vehicle, principal’s vehicle, follow-vehicle, and/or act as response agent. Maintain assigned protective formation position during principal’s walking movements. Participate in advance security preparations.

Must have a minimum of three (3) years of verifiable pre-hospital emergency medical services experience at the AEMT or paramedic level. Must possess current and active National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certification as a Paramedic.

Requirements

• U.S. citizen
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Valid U.S. tourist passport
• 21 years of age or older
• 3 years of verifiable pre-hospital emergency medical services experience at the AEMT or paramedic level
• Current and active National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certification as a Paramedic
• CPR Professional Rescuer certification or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Advanced Trauma Training credentials
• Tactical Combat Casualty Care – Combat Medic/Corpsman (TCCC-CM/C) certification
• Personnel security clearance (DOS Secret level)
• Qualify with the Glock-19, M4, M240, M249
• Complete the Physical Readiness Test (PRT) at the 65% performance level
