Escrow Agent

This is a remote position.

We are looking to add an experienced escrow agent/closing coordinator to our title department to help with our growing business catered to real estate investors and to help with our expansion throughout Kansas and Missouri. Having a law firm, title company, and brokerage all under one family, we are able to close deals that other title companies can't and can move quickly to close faster than the competition. At Rick Davis Real Estate, we focus on being disruptive and doing things differently so we can provide a better experience for our [link removed] addition to closing deals that others can't, we are also experts on remote closings offering remove video notary services and e-signatures. As such, we can close transactions all over the states of Kansas and Missouri and not just in the Kansas city area. Additionally, we offer a unique subscription program, Guarded Pockets™ that provides our clients with unlimited schedule phone calls with an attorney and discounts on closing services.ResponsibilitiesObtain payoffs of taxes, homes associations, and any lienable [link removed] commission letters and invoices from real estate [link removed] escrow account by depositing funds; maintaining [link removed] transaction documents by completing forms and statements; collecting and reviewing existing [link removed] calculations by prorating taxes and [link removed] to disbursement, confirm all funds are collected, all appropriate documents are checked for accuracy, signatures are collected, and acknowledgements and legal descriptions are correctCorrect all taxes due, HOA dues, and any delinquencies and/or principal and interestEnsure all payoffs have been collected, mailed, delivered or wired according to instructionsVerify against the HUD statement that all disbursements have been paid correctlyCloses escrow account by balancing and disbursing funds.

Requirements

• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the escrow/title industry field

This position is remote and can be performed anywhere in the U.S. Experience with local title standards is required, but physical presence in our office is not.
