Job description

Overview:

The Proactive Value Chain Administrator (PVCA) is responsible for on-time processing of
proactive purchase orders requests (PORs). The goal is to make sure that proactive spares
are purchased strategically in cost efficient manner. The client & supplier locations are not
only in the Philippines but are located across the different countries around the world.
PVCAs are also expected to other administrative tasks such as data encoding,

documentation, etc.

Primary Workflow:

  • Cost efficient & on time processing of Proactive Purchase Order Request (PPOR):
    a. Quoting / Pricing, negotiating, evaluating & selecting recommended supplier.
    b. Seeking approval from executive team by sending complete information with
    recommendations.
    c. Ordering, processing of required documents & tracking of shipment.
    d. Invoicing reconciliation and settlement.
    e. Daily reports of current open (Purchase Order Requests) POR.
    • Obtain timely customs release and other government agency releases as
    appropriate, arranging delivery, and insuring invoicing for services is completed
    accurately and within the timeframe consistent with the import account and
    company policy.
    • On time processing of Inventory Movement Requests (IMRs).
    a. Approval
    b. Adjustment
    • On time submission & renewal of necessary permits regularly.

    Required Deliverables:
    • Complete processing of POR before occurrence of another incident requiring the
    same part.
    • Cost efficient in transactions with suppliers.
    • Resilient in getting the most favorable quotes for TRT.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a College Degree.
    • Must have 0-2 years of experience in logistics.
    • Thorough working knowledge of statutory importation regulations and best industry
    practices, application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Professional
    certification would be an advantage.
    • Ability to handling numerous tasks within limited timeframes in a structured manner.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Possess positive attitude and a team player.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to clearly communicate with
    the Supply Chain Team, other departments, and the Executive Management.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook
