Role Overview
Faculty Mentors have an academic responsibility to aid Learners in achieving their educational objectives using relevant tools, resources, and materials incorporating Learner needs and real-world contexts. Faculty Mentors also support course, program, and institutional levels of educational outcomes using proper instructional and assessment strategies.
What You Will Do
Faculty Mentors shall facilitate courses, create and/or revise course content, participate in Learner-related activities, engage in curriculum development reviews, assess Learners, develop their capacities within the Canvas LMS, and perform other duties as assigned by the Dean.

Faculty Mentors are expected to demonstrate expert knowledge in one’s discipline, enthusiastically facilitate learning spaces, and maintain gradebooks and other documentation within Canvas.
Requirements
- Terminal degree from a regionally accredited institution in psychology, clinical psychology, or counseling psychology
- Active License: Licensed Psychologist
- Active License: Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC), OR Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), OR Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC)
- Previous experience with online instruction and learning management systems
- Experience with Canvas LMS is preferred
