About Our Client:

A well-capitalized, Chinese-funded crypto startup backed by top-tier investors. Founded by finance and blockchain veterans, the company is building a comprehensive digital asset ecosystem and scaling globally. They are now seeking visionary C-suite leaders to join during this critical growth phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technology Strategy & Architecture: Define and execute the comprehensive technology roadmap, covering public/consortium blockchains, wallet infrastructure, trading engines, and payment gateways.
• Team Leadership & Scaling: Lead, mentor, and aggressively scale the engineering team from its current size to 200+ engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and technical excellence.
• Product Development: Collaborate closely with Product and Operations to translate business goals into technical requirements, ensuring seamless delivery across design, development, and deployment lifecycles.
• Security & Resilience: Establish and oversee best-in-class security protocols, penetration testing, and disaster recovery mechanisms to safeguard user assets and data.
• Budget & Resource Management: Manage the technology budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation while meeting aggressive growth and product milestones.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in technology leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior engineering leadership role within the blockchain or cryptocurrency industry.
• Proven track record of building large-scale trading/financial systems from inception to production, with deep knowledge of cryptographic protocols, consensus algorithms, and smart contract development.
• Experience leading and scaling engineering teams of 50+ members, with demonstrated success in fast-paced, hyper-growth environments.
• Deep understanding of major blockchain ecosystems (Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana) and cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Exceptional cross-functional communication skills and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is highly preferred to facilitate seamless communication with headquarters.
