Remote Transcriptionist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Remote Transcriptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for converting audio and video recordings into accurate, well-formatted written documents. The ideal candidate will have excellent listening skills, a strong command of language, and the ability to type quickly and accurately. As a remote transcriptionist, you will have the flexibility to work from home while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality transcription standards.

Key Responsibilities

Transcription Services: Listen to recorded audio and video files and transcribe them into text documents, ensuring accuracy and clarity.Formatting Documents: Ensure that transcriptions are properly formatted and adhere to the required guidelines, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit transcriptions for errors and inconsistencies to ensure the final document is of the highest quality.Time Management: Manage multiple transcription assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines consistently.Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information contained in audio files and transcriptions.Client Communication: Collaborate with clients to understand specific transcription requirements and preferences, if needed.Software Use: Utilize transcription software, foot pedals, and other tools to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
