Medical Content Writer / Credentialed Health Professional Writer

Position Type: Full-Time Reports To: Head of Product DevelopmentAbout the RoleWe are hiring a credentialed health professional with strong writing skills to elevate the accuracy, clarity, and medical integrity of our product content. This role provides a critical layer of expert review, ensuring everything we publish (books, guides, plans, nutrition content, and health claims) meets high professional standards.Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify the accuracy of all medical, nutritional, and scientific content.
• Serve as a second layer of expert oversight to support the product development team.
• Identify and correct content errors, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies (e.g., calorie counts, nutrition data).
• Proofread and refine content for clarity, readability, and professional quality.
• Help ensure compliance with health and wellness best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
• Contribute to the development of new product content.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Credentialed health professional (e.g., RD, MD, NP, RN, ND, MPH, or similar).
• Demonstrated experience writing or reviewing health, nutrition, or medical content.
• Ability to translate complex medical information into clear, consumer-friendly language.
• Exceptional attention to detail and rigorous fact-checking.
• Strong proofreading and editorial skills.
• Experience with consumer health products, publishing, or wellness brands is a plus.
