Role Overview

The Systems Administrator handles day-to-day support of the ATC core storage, compute, and virtual services. This position reports up to the ATC Systems & Cloud Manager. The role is responsible for providing first level support for customers consuming ATC core systems and services, troubleshooting common system problems, and working with engineers and architects to resolve complex technical issues.

What You Will Do

Provide first level support for customers consuming ATC core systems and services, troubleshoot common system problems, work with engineers and architects to resolve complex technical issues, communicate with ATC stakeholders via ServiceNow, email, or instant message, document troubleshooting steps and solutions to ServiceNow or Wiki, provision storage, compute, or virtual environments to support customer engagements (labs, POCs, demos), provide guidance to ATC stakeholders regarding storage, compute, and virtualization for customer engagements (labs, POCs, demos), monitor critical ATC services, assist with regular maintenance activities, maintain and support ATC core services, monitor and work support queue, work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • VMware, NetApp, Linux or Windows certifications preferred but not required
  • 1+ years of systems administration experience
  • Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system
  • Experience with VMware, Linux, and Windows technologies
  • Experience with NetApp storage arrays
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform are a plus
  • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
