Role Overview
The IT Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the infrastructure engineering team in supporting and evolving the Direct Market Technology platform environment. This position blends technical leadership, personnel management, and heavy hands-on system engineering to ensure maximum uptime, optimal infrastructure planning, and successful execution of complex technology migrations.

Manage a team of direct reports, oversee technical project execution, prioritize goals and priorities for staff, ensure deliverables are on target with goals, and align processes with department goals.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related engineering discipline, or equivalent professional work experience
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure engineering or cloud operations
- Extensive hands-on experience engineering, maintaining, and actively configuring Ubuntu environments, Puppet automation platforms, and bare-metal orchestration tools (MAAS)
- Demonstrated hands-on background executing datacenter footprint migrations, handling hardware procurement, and directly engineering/managing virtualization boundaries (including OpenStack, LXD, KVM, and ESXi lifecycles)
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Active Directory management, enterprise certificate enrollment processes, identity tooling, and maintaining critical trust layers across corporate domain controllers
- Deep, hands-on familiarity with the intricacies of CEPH architecture and administration for long-term persistent storage
- Hands-on experience or familiarity with MicroCloud deployment/management frameworks
