This is a remote position.

We are looking for an Android Developerto join a dynamic and collaborative engineering team. The role involves building and maintaining high-quality Android applications using Kotlin, with a strong focus on performance, security, and user experience. The developer will work with RESTful APIs, modern Jetpack components, and industry-standard architectures such as MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture. This is an opportunity to collaborate across teams, take ownership of complex technical challenges, and grow within a fast-paced development environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
  • Work with RESTful APIs, networking, and XML/JSON data formats.
  • Build modern UI components using Jetpack Compose.
  • Implement reactive and asynchronous patterns using Coroutines, Flow, ViewModel, and LiveData.
  • Apply architectural patterns including MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture.
  • Integrate APIs using Retrofit and OkHttp.
  • Implement dependency injection using Hilt or Dagger and apply modularization principles.
  • Write and maintain unit tests (JUnit, MockK) and UI tests.
  • Ensure solutions meet high standards of performance, security, and user experience.
  • Maintain high code quality and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Manage source code and collaborate using Git.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Android application development.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and familiarity with Java.
  • Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose, ViewModel, LiveData, Coroutines, and Flow.
  • Solid understanding of MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture patterns.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs using Retrofit and OkHttp.
  • Knowledge of dependency injection with Hilt / Dagger and application modularization.
  • Experience with unit testing (JUnit, MockK) and UI testing.
  • Proficiency in version control with Git.
  • Good command of English (minimum B2).
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of cryptography and secure coding practices.
  • Familiarity with OWASP MASVS (Mobile Application Security Verification Standard).
