Operations Risk Officer - VATP

The company is applying for the virtual assets trading platform license with the SFC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze operations to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within the exchanges processes and systems
• Assist in developing and implementing risk management policies and procedures to mitigate identified risks
• Collaborate with various departments (e.g., IT, Compliance, Operations) to ensure risk mitigation strategies are integrated into daily operations
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies
• Prepare and present risk reports to the Risk Management team and senior management, highlighting findings and recommendations
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in technology that could affect the exchanges risk profile
• Participate in the development and execution of business continuity and disaster recovery plans
• Assist in the investigation of any operational incidents or breaches and contribute to the development of corrective action plans

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
• Strong interest in cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, and financial markets
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are a plus
