- Working with an established Australian Registered Training Organization (RTO), you'll deliver engaging learning experiences, assess competency, and contribute to continuous improvement across training delivery. Even better, you'll be supported to complete yourTAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, helping you continue building your expertise while making a lasting impact on Australia's future workforce.
- Deliver training and assessment aligned with nationally recognized Training Packages.
- Prepare, facilitate, and assess units of competency.
- Deliver engaging classroom and virtual training using adult learning principles.
- Conduct competency-based assessments, including Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
- Explain assessment requirements and provide timely, constructive learner feedback.
- Provide ongoing learner coaching and support throughout the training journey.
- Ensure compliance with theStandards for RTOs 2025, the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), and organizational policies.
- Complete theTAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Trainingwhile in the role.
- Liaise with Student Services before each course to ensure learning materials and resources are current and available.
- Complete learner inductions and ensure all required documentation is accurately maintained.
- Maintain student records, trainer reports, course reports, and assessment documentation.
- Participate in validation and moderation activities to maintain assessment quality.
- Assist in developing and reviewing Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS).
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and mapping learning and assessment resources.
- Promote equal access to learning and support learners with diverse needs.
- Work closely with Student Services and the Program Delivery Manager.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across training delivery.
- Maintain vocational education and industry currency through professional development.
- Follow Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and report hazards or incidents.
- Support regional training delivery when required.
- Promote client's training services where appropriate.
Requirements
Required Qualifications (Must-Have):
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or TAE40116/TAE40110 equivalent recognized under current requirements.
- Vocational qualification relevant to your industry area.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in training and assessment.
- Sound knowledge of Australia's Vocational Education and Training (VET) system, Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), and Standards for RTOs.
- Experience delivering, assessing, evaluating, or developing nationally recognized training.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Passion for adult education and learner success.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Professional, ethical, and learner-focused approach.
- Comfortable working with diverse learner cohorts.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
- Experience working within a Registered Training Organization (RTO).
- TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, or willingness to complete as part of the role.
- Higher qualification in Adult Education or Vocational Education.
- Experience using Canvas LMS.
- Experience using PowerPro Student Management System.
- Proficiency with Adobe Suite and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience developing learning resources and Training & Assessment Strategies (TAS).
- Experience participating in validation and moderation activities.
