Sr. Sales Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a driven and technically strong Sr. Sales Engineer to support enterprise sales engagements and help customers adopt Cohesity’s modern data security and management platform.

What You Will Do

As a Sr Sales Engineer, you will partner closely with Account Executives to drive new customer opportunities and expansions by delivering tailored technical solutions.

Requirements

• 8-12 years of experience in pre-sales Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting
• Proven experience in infrastructure, data protection, security, or cloud platforms in enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience technologies
• Working knowledge of data security concepts
• Familiarity with competitive technologies
• Experience supporting proofs of concept, evaluations, and technical decision processes
• Ability to translate technical architecture into clear customer value and business outcomes
• Experience partnering with Account Executives to support complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools
• Understanding of enterprise buying processes and deal dynamics
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Collaborative mindset
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
• Industry certifications in cloud, data, or adjacent technologies are a plus
• English language proficiency
